Willow
Invision yourself in a world, during the middle ages. You, unlike many people, are a dwarf. In the film, “Willow” the main character is a dwarf and has found a baby that is not of his kind. He is destined to turn this baby over into the right hands, a large person. Overall, “Willow” is an unrealistic story.
In the film, “Willow”, the story is realistic because in real life most people care to save people. Also it is adventurous and that is realistic because many people go on long adventures. The movie is unrealistic because there is magic involved and everybody in their right mind knows that magic does not exist. Another reason “Willow” is unrealistic is because there is unrealistic beings/ animals. Lastly, because of a sorcery being involved, proves that the film is unrealistic.
Although “Willow” is an unrealistic film , it is a romantic movie. One reason “Willow” is romantic is because everything is totally unrealistic. The show starts out with a minor conflict of Willow finding a baby that is not of his kind. Also at the end of the film it ends with life symbolism of the evil queen dying which is a good thing because she was wicked. Last but not least, it is a romantic story because of the symbolism, such as vines. There were vines throughout the whole movie.
In many romance movies, the main character is normally prince charming and everything about them is perfect . In Willow’s case, it was exactly the opposite. Willow is a dwarf and has curly hair. But then again, looks are not everything. Willow is a very heroic and caring person and he loves the baby that he has found and he is determined to transport it to big people. Willow inspires people because of his determination and courageous acts.
The movie “Willow” is an unrealistic film although it tells a real life story. After seeing the movie “Willow” the moral lesson that is taught if you are determined to do something you should follow your heart and in the end you will succeed.
